Taylor Everett on the Issues

Bussing- We need to use more resources to hire bus drivers and get back to bussing to all schools.

Behavior- Bus drivers, teachers, and Admins need to have the ability to discipline students at the moment while also involving parents as much as possible.

Safety- Every student, teacher, and administrator should feel safe going to school.

Class Size- We need to invest more in creating additional schools to reduce class sizes.

Staffing- My goal is to have an aide in every classroom in JCPS.

Testing- Teachers should have the ability to test their students through different methods such as projects and presentations.

Technology- The technology we invest in should focus on helping teachers work less after hours, create ease of communication with parents, and help bus drivers stay on time.

Transparency- The board and JCPS leadership should encourage transparency to the public and make it extremely easy for anyone to access the information they are seeking.
